In-House Textile Testing Laboratory
At TexVeda Fabrics, every meter of fabric undergo comprehensive physical and chemical evaluation in our computerized testing laboratory before being approved for dispatch.
We adhere strictly to international testing norms (ASTM, AATCC, ISO) to verify GSM accuracy, yarn count consistency, color fastness, and dimensional stability for all cotton, rayon, poly cotton, melange, and starched fabrics.
Key Quality Parameters Tested
Each batch is accompanied by an internal Mill Test Certificate (MTC) detailing the physical and chemical test outcomes.
GSM & Count Accuracy
Digital GSM circular cutter and precision analytical balances verify weight uniformity across selvedge-to-selvedge within ± 2.5% tolerance.
Color Fastness Testing
Evaluated against washing (ISO 105 C06), rubbing/crocking (dry & wet Grade 4+), and artificial xenon light fastness for long-lasting color vibrance.
Tensile & Tear Strength
Instron universal tensile tester measures warp and weft breaking tenacity to ensure fabrics withstand intense apparel manufacturing stresses.
Dimensional Stability & Shrinkage
Wascator accelerated wash cycles measure residual shrinkage to ensure shrinkage remains below 2% for cotton and rayon blends.
Pilling & Abrasion Resistance
Martindale abrasion and ICI pilling box testing ensures our finished fabric retains a smooth surface finish even after thousands of friction cycles.
ASTM 4-Point Visual Grading
100% of manufactured fabric rolls pass through illuminated inspection frames where trained quality checkers log and score defect points.
